about Miriam

miriam weiskind I’m a Brooklyn-based consultant graphic designer, art director, illustrator, photographer and writer.  In 2004, I moved from the Heart of it All (Ohio) after graduating from the graphic design program D.A.A.P. at the University of Cincinnati, to continue and expand my career as a design professional. With an interest in creating innovative ideas, helping to develop unique design strategies and solutions, I quickly began working with some of New York City’s top notch design studios.

I’ve always been captivated with the notion of improving graphic elements that surround my day to day life. Little did I know that while drawing Snoopy cartoons at age 4 would later land me in New York City where I would be working with some of the world’s most creative individuals on projects ranging from advertising campaigns for Nike to  billboards for Hennessey that greet commuters at the entrance of the Lincoln Tunnel to the packaging on a Bath & Body Works Pocketbak hand sanitizer.

Over the past 10 years, I have had the great fortune to work on many amazing projects, covering a multitude of disciplines. While best described by clients and colleagues as an “ideas girl,” I like to also think of myself as a designer with a very unique vision and a love for bringing those ideas to life. Whether you are looking for that great idea or that specific look to brand your company, take a look through my work and contact me should you feel that we could be a great fit. I’m pretty sure we might very well be.

In late 2013, I decided to make mdoubleu an official design studio, taking on a handful of amazing clients and collaborating with many talented creative minds alike.
